Associate Pastor
How does your role support Crossroads’ ministry?
I provide pastoral care and support to ministry leaders as they teach and help others to practice the things Jesus taught us to do. I also help to focus our gatherings on the worship of Christ, and the study and obedience of his Word. I love to help us learn to interact with and share Jesus in every day life, especially in our relational networks (work, school, family, etc.). Much of this happens through relaxed conversations over a meal or coffee!

Stacie Chan
Co-Director of Discoveryland Children's Ministries
How does your role support Crossroads’ ministry?
My role supports Crossroads’ mission of “reaching out, bringing in, building up” by organizing outreach events, fostering a safe and welcoming environment for children and families, and providing Christ-centered Bible lessons as well as serving opportunities for children, youth, and adults.
How have you seen God work through the ministry at Crossroads?
I’ve seen children grow with an eagerness to learn about God and His love for them through engaging Bible lessons taught by dedicated, loving, and compassionate teachers. As the children move on to ASM (youth group) and beyond, I’ve seen a large number of them develop a servant’s heart and use their God-given gifts to serve Him in Discoveryland and various other ministries at Crossroads.

I have a background in art and pediatric occupational therapy. My hobbies include crocheting and baking.
Theresa Hayashida
Co-Director of Discoveryland Children's Ministries
How does your role support Crossroads’ ministry?
As a Co-director of Discoveryland, I am so honored and privileged to help create a safe, nurturing, and loving Christ-centered learning environment for children and their families, while also supporting our incredible volunteers. Our mission is to partner with the families in laying a foundation of spiritual truth, so that each child will know he/she is treasured and, in God’s timing, becomes a lifelong follower of Jesus Christ, and grow to know, love, and serve Him. I feel the Lord has given me a passion and love for planting the seeds of His Truth, love, and grace in the hearts, minds, and souls of each child who enters our doors.
How have you seen God work through the ministry at Crossroads?
It has been a joy to witness God’s hand at work from the day we started Crossroads and see it continue to this day. His love and care for, and through, the people of Crossroads have been lifegiving, refreshing, and inspiring. I truly love our church family; we have some of the best people!

I have one leg shorter than the other, was a HS drill team captain, and had the opportunity to perform at many special events, even went on a 2-week all-expenses paid trip to Japan to tour and dance at various sites, and I have undergone 4 knee surgeries.

Ian Rogers
Director of Youth and Worship
How does your role support Crossroads’ ministry?
I help cultivate a space and a time for the youth to see how God makes everything in their life matter. Together with an amazing group of volunteers, we get to do worship, games, and discuss the hard questions in life such as ‘why does God only save some people?’ or ‘what is the proper sequencing of a turn in the Pokemon TCG?’
I also get to focus on developing and supporting our worship teams, fostering our church’s heart of worship, and making fun music every Sunday.
