Kevin Hayashida is the founding pastor of Crossroads Community Church in Mission Viejo. Kevin was born and raised in Southern California and he attended UCLA. After working in the aerospace industry as an engineer for three years, God called him another direction, attending seminary. After graduation, he served as a pastor in the San Francisco Bay Area for three years. At this time Kevin and Theresa sensed God calling them back to Orange County to start a new church. In 1998, he planted Crossroads with a small group of friends.

Kevin and his wife, Theresa, have been married for more than 34 years and have three children. Kevin loves travel, sushi, coffee and trying new foods. Kevin has been to all 50 states, appeared on a game show, and has owned four cars with more than 200,000 miles on the odometer.
